77th Annual Meeting of SWCD Directors - October 23-25, 2017

Overview

The Annual Meeting of Texas Soil and Water Conservation District Directors is ameeting that provides Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Directors, SWCD employees, and other conservation partners the opportunity to examine issues relevant to the conservation of the State’s natural resources. Speakers from the local, state, and national levels will address attendees concerning a wide variety of agricultural and conservation topics.

Registration Forms will not be processed until payment is received. If you are mailing a check please put your registration forms with your payment. Please do not e-mail registration forms unless you are paying with a credit card.

Annual Meeting Tours

Auxiliary Tour and Reception
The Auxiliary members will enjoy a rare, up-close and interactive experience with endangered plants and animals ranging from Giant Amazon River Otters to Saki Monkeys and an array of birds. After the tour is complete, they will return to the hotel for their business meeting and light refreshments. Auxiliary Tour will be capped at 60 participants.

Conservation Tour
President and CEO of Moody Gardens, John Zendt will give participants a tour of the water treatment process and facility on grounds at the Moody Garden Hotel. Next, participants will meet with Animal Husbandry Manager, Greg Whittaker to learn about the conservation efforts in which Moody Gardens is involved. Conservation Tour will be capped at 60 participants.
